Health eCareers is looking for a Content Strategist who can cultivate a community of highly engaged health care professionals through strategic content. The candidate will create a content strategy and develop content aimed at establishing Health eCareers as the leading career resources for health care professionals. This role is an integral part of our marketing team and will help shape how we engage with health care professionals and customers to reinforce Health eCareers as a thought leader in our field. The Content Strategist will lead the development, execution and measurement of content for the Company and leverage his/her expertise to drive the tactical execution of a cohesive content narrative across on-site, email, and social channels.
Develop and lead a content strategy that reflects our position as the leading career resources for health care professionals.
Create and manage editorial workflows, freelancers, partners and customers to write, curate and source quality content that engages health care professionals.
Collaborate with the Sales and Employer Marketing teams to position Health eCareers as thought leaders with our customers
Strategically prioritize and leverage on-site, email, and social channels to maximize user engagement.
Directly supervise the operations of Health eCareers' content website and partner microsites, targeted to health care professionals, employers, and recruiters.
Oversee a team of freelancers and partners to ensure on time and on budget delivery of content.
Own all aspects of content performance, from measurement of keys KPIs and trends to assessing the broader business impact. Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reporting of results and insights to key business partners.
Serve as an internal SME championing content best practices and channel ambassador to the rest of the business.
BS/BA in English, journalism, communications or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in editing, writing, and/or community management.
Previous experience working with a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Hippo, or HubSpot.
Excellent communication skills with colleagues of all levels.
Proficiency with Google Analytics and Facebook Insights a plus.
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
Must be able to think strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution.
Organized and efficient with the ability to respond well under pressure.
Health care or recruiting experience a plus.
