We are looking for a Data Analyst that's not only intrigued about the data, but also how we actually collect it. This role requires an individual who is tenaciously driven to discover trends and anomalies from collected data, is able to create visually appealing reports, and is an exceptional communicator across technology and business stakeholders. Our marketing department is constantly looking to optimize our spend on various online channels and this position directly supports their needs around tracking inbound users (Google Analytics), determining what they do on our site, and ultimately determining ways to increase conversions (job applies).
Develop custom dashboards to help stakeholders understand business health and support their decision-making process.
Leverage tools, primarily Google Analytics, to build ad hoc reports and allow stakeholders to further understand key business trend
Assist business stakeholders with interpreting data, generating key business insights, and making data-driven business decisions.
Analyze web site behavior especially in relation to marketing efforts to determine areas of improvement.
Create insightful and easy to understand data visualizations to show marketing and other business trends.
BS/BA; relevant field of study preferred (mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, business, or marketing)
Minimum 5 years' experience managing reports and generating insights.
Excellent Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel skills.
Organized and efficient with the ability to deliver quality reports on time.
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices a plus.
Prior experience with SQL or Google AdWords a plus.
Prior experience creating data visualizations using a tool like Tableau a plus.
Google Analytics certified a plus but not required. Skills valued over certifications.
